This project grew out of the Smart Streets Bike Safety Web Site designed for Yale University. The City and the University were both working on parallel projects and eventually united them under the symbol we had designed. The City chose the focus on the idea of ‘Street Smarts’ while the University, being an institution of learning called it ‘Smart Streets.’ A campaign of graphic applications emerged out of this project including stickers, magnets, reflectors, cups, street painting, lollipops and an umbrella.
